Private Fees
(From October 2025)
Why we charge private fees: Some services fall outside NHS funding — for example, insurance reports, employment forms, and letters requested for non-clinical purposes. These tasks require a GP’s time to review records, assess information, and complete documentation to a professional standard. Private fees cover the clinician and admin time involved, the responsibility carried when signing documents, and the practice costs for providing these non-NHS services.
Turnaround & payment: Forms typically take a minimum of four weeks for completion by the doctors. Payment is required before work begins. To be fair to all patients, there are no exceptions to these charges.
