Test Results

This page explains how to view or request your test results, what our messages mean, and what to do if you feel worse while waiting.

ℹ️ We will contact you if anything needs urgent action. Otherwise, please check online first. Fastest way: view your results in the NHS App (or on the NHS website using NHS login).

Ways to get your results

Online – NHS App / NHS website

Your results show in your GP record after a clinician has reviewed them. You’ll need an NHS login and may be asked to verify your identity.

  • Open the NHS App → GP health record → Test results.

  • If available, turn on notifications for new results and messages.

If you can’t see a result yet, it may still be with the lab or waiting for clinical review.

Online – Anima / NHS website

If you are contacted to us via Anima, you can view our replies and any follow-up messages there. For the most complete view of your lab report, please use the NHS App/NHS website.

By Phone

If you can’t access your results online, please call us for results any time on weekdays. Reception can read out the clinician’s comment and let you know if follow-up is needed. These can also be e-mailed or sent via SMS on request.

Please be aware: for confidentiality, we can only give results to the patient (or an authorised proxy).

By SMS (Text Message)

We may send a short update such as “normal – no action”. For the full report and reference ranges, please use the NHS App/NHS website.
